So it rears its head again in 2011 — the 7th Annual Japanese Classic Car Show. This year was particularly awesome, as a Mitsu guy. There were your normal 240z’s and 510′s all over the damn place, but there were a few hidden gems for the triple diamond enthusiast. Tucked away in a spot not drawing too much attention to itself was a 1981 A175A Mitsubishi Lancer EX 1800 GSR. This, for those who don’t know, is one of my dream cars. I’ve pined after it, but it’s not the simplest car to register in Cali. Another favorite, spotted by fellow photawesomephers Vince and Marco was a 1971 Mitsubishi Debonair. These cars are the stuff of dreams, folks!!

Walking further down the grass, we spotted the motorsport legend Mazdas — The RX-792P and the 787. Seeing these cars in person really made me feel nostalgic. I remember racing the 787 on Gran Turismo back in the day, and there it was, right in front of me.

All in all, it was a fantastic show, and it absolutely didn’t upset. I even converted someone over to the Japanese Vintage side (I’m looking at you, Dylan.) Here are the shots:

Damn, it’s been a while =P. I need more excuses to get out and take photos. Anywho, I went to hang out with the peeps at SCLC.NET this weekend for the infamous Jollibee Turbo Party. If you haven’t had Jollibee before, you need to live =P. A lot of oldschool members showed up this time which was awesome. It was super nice catchin’ up with all of the oldies that I met when I first joined the club. Be Forewarned, I am, at the moment, too lazy to sort these images into a gallery layout. Anyways, ONWARD!

Thumbs up for the 4g63 Lancer!

Hangin’ out around OJ’s EvoIX Swapped base lancer :D

Marcus lookin’ hard as hell.

Starting Fresh

Hey there, I know I haven’t posted in a while, but I have news! I purchased, a few weeks back, a Canon EOS 7D! I’m so stoked over this camera. Marco and I went out to a local Euromeet that was kinda small. I didn’t get to take all that many pictures, but what I have is below (plus some test shots from when I was playing with the camera =P):

Here’s another event in the series of “Pics from Events Past.” These photos are from Adams Motorsports Park’s Annual Halloween Party, entitled “Night of the Drifting Dead.” There was a ton of action on the track, and most of the drifters dressed up their cars =P. Check out what I got for the night!

Since Jeff has been bothering me so much, here’s the first of my multiple-part series of events that I never really uploaded =P. A few weeks back, the standard Adams Motorsports Park meet went down. During the entire month of October, visitors to Adams and their employees dressed up to get into the Halloween Spirit. Got some good snaps of a few different cars, most of them featuring 3 or 4 cars, but that means they get to reap in the benefits of having so many photos xD. Here are the photos that I got!

Adams Motorsports Park, AMP, Drift, Thursday Night Drift, Costumes, Halloween, Beer pong, Ping pong, Nissan, Toyota, 240sx, Silvia, Supra, BMW, 6-series, 5-series, sparks
Tommy playin’ some serious Nick Beer Pong.

WOO! It’s been so long since I’ve posted here. I’m going to be posting up the recent drift meet pictures soon; I’ve been so busy with work lately @_@. Anywho, these photos are from Saturday’s Road Race Motorsports Halloween Meet. There were a ton of awesome cars and people that showed up, including a GANG of Lancers, a few Kias, my VR-4, Brian’s V8 240, and even a GT-R =P. Here are the photos that I nabbed from the event =P. I hope you enjoy!

All of the cars there when I showed up. Good showing for 10:00 AM =P.

Thursday Night Drift this week was pretty bangin’. Lots of people showed up to the track, including Alex Pfeiffer, to slide around. The whole night was dedicated to a local drifter that recently passed away. My heart goes out to Tim’s Family and Friends. Let’s get down to the pics!

The night was dedicated to Tim Denzler.

So Sunday was the big 10/10/10 3S Dyno Day, and boy was it a hell of a meet. 20-30 3S’s, a few supras, an evo, and an AE86 showed up =P. Turns out that 10 or so cars dyno’d with numbers all over the board. The highest number of the day was achieved by CHO, with a Dodge Stealth, pullin’ in 456 awhp. Congrats sucka! Anyway, here are the photos iSnapped at the event.

This is how the parking lot looked at 11:00, when the event started. Pretty crazy that everyone was early/on time =P.

Then Apax showed up with his sick paint job.

Captain Custom also showed up. I remember seeing this car at MOD a few years back.

Thursday Night Drift was in full effect, per the usual =P. Looks like over the next few weeks, they’re encouraging people to dress up both their cars and themselves to get into the halloween spirit =P. Hopefully a bunch more people show up dressed up along with their cars =P. Anywho, iGot some pretty decent photos, so Check them out!!
